Load dishes in the racks

Open dishwasher door, pull out the dish racks, load the dishes, and push in the loaded dish racks.

Get a dishwasher-detergent pod

Under the kitchen sink, there’s a jar full of dishwasher-detergent pods. Grab one.

Fill the dishwasher-detergent compartment

On the backside of the dishwasher door, there are two compartments – the left compartment is for detergent, and the right compartment is for drying agent. If the left compartment’s door is closed, press the button on the left compartment’s door to open it. Place the dishwasher-detergent pod in the left compartment, and slide the compartment’s door forward to close it.

Turn on the dishwasher

Pull the dishwasher door upwards so that we can see the top of the dishwasher door where there’s a control panel with multiple dishwasher buttons. Press the “ON | OFF” button.

Set the dishwasher’s wash mode

The dishwasher’s “AUTO” mode should be automatically set – this should be indicated by a solid-blue light above the “AUTO” button. If not, then press the “AUTO” button to select it. Also, the display should show “02h:39min” blinking, and the “DRY” button should have a solid-blue light.

Start the dishwasher

Press the “START | RESUME” button until we hear a single beep, then we can close the dishwasher door.

If we hear a triple beep, then we have to re-press the “START | RESUME” button until we hear a single beep, and then we can close the dishwasher door.

Confirm the dishwasher started

If we look at the floor beneath the left side of the dishwasher door, we should see a display projected on to the floor – the display should show the remaining dishwasher cycle time. This indicates that the dishwasher started. We’ll just let the dishwasher run until done.
