Enter Hermit Cove
On the northwest corner of Hermit Cove, find the green lake house, and use it as a marker for navigating through Hermit Cove. When entering the channel, head directly to the green lake house and traverse near it because the water is deeper there. We want to stay left and near the green lake house when entering the channel.

Watch for rocks on starboard side
Immediately, we will see a couple of large rocks on our starboard side.

45 degree turn
Continue with a 45 degree turn, pointing the bow towards Eagles Landing’s dock flag.

Watch for rocks on port side
Do not go too far left of middle in the channel as there are a couple of large submerged rocks on our port side. Stay towards the left of middle in the channel until we arrive at the dock. Trim up to park in later Summer or Fall months depending on the lake level. Tie up to the cleats at the end of the dock, where it’s deeper.

Exit Hermit Cove
When leaving the boat dock, stay to the right side of the cove’s channel, and head straight towards the green lake house as a crow flies.

Watch for rocks on port side
As you depart towards the middle of the channel, there are big rocks on our port side we want to avoid – we’ll likely see them protruding through the water depending on the lake level.

Watch for rocks on starboard side
On our starboard side, about halfway down the channel, there is a big rock that’s hard to see, so don’t go too far to the right side of the cove’s channel.
